INTRODUCTION:
The course provides a comprehensive overview of the importance of water analysis, including the development of analytical methods, the application of quality control measures, and the utilisation of analysis results. It covers the various physical, chemical, and other pertinent properties of water components, as well as essential topics such as sampling techniques, clean-up extraction methods, and derivation procedures.
Participants will have the opportunity to compare older techniques that are still in use with recently developed ones, and will also gain insights into future trends in water analysis. Similarly, the course will delve into the discussion of detection methods, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Apply up to date knowledge and skills on water analysis and quality control techniques
- Select proper water samples from different sources including seawater, MSF, boiler feed water, boiler blowdown water, boiler water, produced steam, condensate water and drain effluent water
- Practice the latest water analysis methods and use the correct analytical equipment to achieve the required results
